Never let facts or logic get in the way of an arrest,

Tsk tsk, ignorance is no excuse. And see another newbie who doesn’t seem to know who Tarzan is.

Caught in a compromising position with an antelope, Tarzan does need to get home fast.

Leopardman was wondering what he could do with his new hands and opposable thumbs a few weeks ago. They are just fine for neck throttling and scalpels.

What about the house, the estate outside of Nairobi, the wife Jane waiting? Is that not home or just a crash pad?

Some snobbery too, “the Open” as opposed to lesser events such as US Open, Canadian Open, Aussie Open, etc. the one true Open, the Open that leads them all.

His bow, quiver and knife will magically re-appear soon.

Yes, it’s true characters who have run into Tarzan before know who he is, and the comic artist Celardo has used recurring characters. But no new persona knows or seems to have heard of a Tarzan in this particular comic universe. Von Kraup and Lisette, the blonde from an earlier arc, the two pilots, the actress, etc, would not have watched Johnny Weismuller Tarzan movies.

@ocsl it is 1965 and in every story arc no one knows who he is, the Sunday Strips are 1992 or so, by then Tarzan had become more of a world celebrity. Maybe Moshe writes a book in 1978 that reveals all.
