Very true! One of my ancestors was on the first boatload, so I’ve learned a lot about that time that is not generally taught in most schools. (I taught it to my sons in our homeschool, using the journal of Governor Bradford.)

I’m okay with most classical music, not that it is my favorite. But my son enjoys opera, and that isn’t something I like at all.

My mom served a bone-in ham many years for Thanksgiving. The family wasn’t thrilled with turkey, so she served what we liked. After Dad died, she switched to pizza on Thanksgiving.

Sounds like a case of self-defense.

Is the killer’s next move skinning a cat more than one way?

My son got his associate’s degree in web development, but is still looking for a job. They all want years of experience, or to relocate several states away. We thought it would be a marketable skill, but doesn’t seem to be in our area.

LOL! That is the ringtone my husband has for me. He’s not in trouble, as I suggested it. (Yes, I’m talkative.)

I’d rather have an election with a low turnout, because that would mean the people who voted were highly motivated, and hopefully, highly informed.
Not that I want to take the right to vote away from anyone, just wish they’d spend time doing research, instead of just listening to the ads and pundits.

I didn’t have a Grandma to help, but my mom was a whiz at making clothes and costumes. If I could dream it up, she could make it. Thankfully, she was still alive and able to sew when my kids needed costumes. She passed away 5 years ago this evening, and we joked about using her corpse to hand out the treats to kids, while we were waiting for the mortician to arrive. She always loved pranks, so to joke about it was just one way to honor her memory.
