In my younger years, I could never get past panel two. Now that many of my genetic disorders have been diagnosed, I understand why. I never get the “endorphines” (or whatever it is that gives a runner’s high) because my bp and heart rate drop dramatically (and dangerously) low with vigorous exercise. I’ve actually been told by my specialist to only exercise as long as it is comfortable for me, to not do more. I have found when I push myself past the comfortable level, my body suffers for days afterward.

It was funnier when I heard it as “what do you call a dead blond in a closet?”

Best of all, the pools and beaches aren’t as crowded later in the day.

I’ve found it is best to go to the beach later in the day, on a sunny day. At my latitude, that means anytime after 3pm. Both parents had skin cancer, but I hate messing with sunblock. If I wait until after 3pm to spend much time outside, I don’t get sunburned, but it is still usually warm enough to enjoy the water. (At least if the high was in the 90’s or higher during the day.)

The doctor at Mayo Clinic just told me to only exercise as much as is “comfortable” for me to do. “Exercise intolerance” is one of my symptoms for a genetic problem I have. One of my many health reasons why I’ve never been great at exercising.

The trick is leaving it in savings until you spend it on the goal, instead of “borrowing” from it for other things before then.

I have no trouble with dust. Roaches on the other hand, cannot stay!

Believe it or not, you can still graduate and receive your diploma without going through the graduation ceremony. They only give you a blank piece of paper at the ceremony anyway.

Played dominoes, and board games too. My 20-something sons have recently re-discovered jigsaw puzzles. Nothing wrong with learning how to saving money and still have fun.

Agreed. Also good when looking for a specific item. However, I still prefer to buy my clothes from a “brick & mortar” store, especially shoes. Trying them on before buying is important to me, as I dislike having to return anything I buy – especially online purchases.
