Haven’t had one of those instructions yet, but it could happen. As it is, I have to take meds 4 different times of the day. (1st is on an empty stomach, and have to wait an hour or more before having food, calcium or iron. 2 x with food, and 4th is before bed.) Then I got prescribed two antibiotics that were to be taken 12 hours apart. Couldn’t be too close to the calcium or iron, but if I didn’t eat enough before taking one of them, I’d get too dizzy to sit up.
It made a challenge trying to schedule all the meds and necessary meals.

I always wondered why people would ruin perfectly good strawberries by adding rhubarb?

Funny, sometimes I feel older than what I see when I look in the mirror. That’s what happens when one develops health problems at a relatively young age.

My husband & I carry a 3×5 card with us at all times, listing our meds and in case of emergency contacts. We’ve been complimented on that more than once.
I use to carry a more extensive list with procedures, vaccinations, etc. with me, but after having some major health problems, just a list isn’t sufficient. Now it is a 3-ring binder with reports and CD’s, and all the same info on a thumb drive.

Always nice to work in a place that has a kitchen. At the very least, a refrigerator & a microwave.

I remember when I & my husband were in our 20’s, and my parents were around 70. We poured concrete for a patio, when it was over 100°F. My dad made us all look like wimps.

Of course, now that I’m older, the doctors have diagnosed some genetic conditions that explain why I’ve always had trouble doing vigorous exercise. I never could keep up with my dad. The first time I realized he was getting old, he died about a month later.

My maiden name was 9 letters long, & my first name has 6, I know how poor Alec feels. I was thankful though, at least it most people can spell both names correctly.

I’d rather have that, if I’ve got symptoms that concern me, than to have them treat me like they think I’m a hypochondriac. I had LOTS of negative test results last year, before they found out what was wrong. When it was finally diagnosed and treated, the specialist confirmed it would have been fatal if they hadn’t caught it in time. Better to be diagnosed when alive, than by autopsy.
