However, when whites are incarcertated at the time they break the law…and even get beaten and shot in the same manner (and it seems we’re seeing an escalation of this now), we will see all criminals being punished as they should. But it’s more than laws that cause some criminal behavior—hunger, housing, medical care, mental illness, all of these things are often what underpin the problem. Reagan started this mess closing the mental hospitals, companies not paying taxes (greed), sucking the money out of maintenance of our country’s infrastructure (jobs), and the No! No! Congress for the past 6 years, then you have people weighing the odds of imprisonment and surviving, or taking one’s chances on the streets and ending up dead from police or illness.
