    A typewriter! Do they even still make those things. I remember getting a typewriter as a gift from my parents when I went to college. Wrote a lot of papers on that thing. And I remember the transition, in the office, from typewriters at all the secretaries’ desks to everyone having a computer on their desk.

    When I first worked for DEC they had an unlimited sick leave policy. It was very odd, because if you went for more than 7 days in a row sick then you fell into a different category something to do with CA’s SDC. That was years ago. But their idea was don’t have sick people coming to work making others sick.

    I used to cut my son’s hair; one time I nodded off while doing it, oh Boy! What a mess! Then in trying to even it out I made it worse; that took month or more to grow out.
