    The act by Congress that created Presidents Day (“Uniform Holidays Act”) actually refers to a day to celebrate Washington’s birthday. The others get lumped in by the public (and the advertisers). Technically, Presidents Day is Washington’s Birthday.

    I think initially there were no Peanuts strips on Sundays - only weekdays. Eventually they started running Peanuts on Sundays when the strip became more popular. But not in the beginning.
