They need to pass some simple pieces of legislation. In any area in which there is a cable monopoly, every channel must be offered on an a la carte basis, and not just a packaged or bundled basis. Bundles can be offered, but are not to be the only choice. If you want to only sell bundles, then allow competition in.
Also, when it comes to internet services, net neutrality will require that each ISP set a price per Megabyte downloaded and charge that to all providers, both internal and external. So they cannot charge netflix more than they charge their own movie service to allow downloads.
Further allow rental of antennas for over the air broadcasts signals to be delivered over the internet, without localization restrictions. If I live in Buffalo NY and want to rent an antenna in San Francisco, why shouldn’t I be allowed to receive the signals?

Thank you for admitting it.
Now, since nothing can be done, can we stop talking about it?
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to interact with you.
I agree that we live on one planet, but ours is not the only planet to be seen to experience global warming. It seems that Mars is warming up as well. Now since the only vehicles we have sent there have been electric powered, and the Chinese have yet to build a single coal fired power plant there, it is unlikely that their emissions are responsible for this rise in temperature. A much more likely candidate is an increase in solar radiation, as the most likely suspect. I think we can agree that no amount of CO2 control on the earth can change the suns output of energy.
Speaking of CO2, are we certain that the supposed rise is a cause or an effect of global warming? Rising temps might cause a release from sea water of CO2. And wouldn’t rising CO2 cause increased plant growth, thereby removing the CO2 from the atmosphere?
I would also tend to question the idea of taxing carbon emissions. The idea of moving money around will lower CO2 levels doesn’t make a lot of sense. Whether it is the physical location of bills or entries on a computer file, the direct effects of increasing government taxes will not change the levels of CO2 in the air.
And as for the accuracy of the temperatures that have been recorded, the East Anglia emails show that these “scientists” insisted on putting thermometers in parking lots and other locations that would naturally be hotter than the surrounding areas. These massaged numbers may have worked early on, but apparently more recent data shows no global warming in 15 years.
In any event, I wish you and yours a happy Easter or Passover, if you celebrate either.

Perhaps if the young ladies were allowed to carry .38 revolvers on campus, they would be able to defend themselves against these kind of attacks.
But then most state governments forbid allowing effective resistance to rapes on property they own.

Madness as the bad guy fires first. Lots of gun fire for about 30 seconds. Then it stops as the multiple good guys stop shooting at the neutralized bad guy.
YOUR scenario has one bad guy shooting dozens of unarmed good guys before killing himself when the police finally arrive tens of minutes later.
We’ve tried it your way dozens of times. It doesn’t work. Let’s try it our way and see how it plays out. I am thinking that the net number of innocent people killed will be much lower our way.

No, they blame the conservatives who left the city and didn’t leave their money behind. That is one reason why cities want to tax the residents in the suburbs.
Makes you wonder how many would have been able to find jobs if the President Obama’s administration were to enforce immigration laws to the letter.
I’ve heard people say that you can’t deport 20 million illegals. How many do you think we COULD get rid of, if we really tried?
We need to get the illegals out, and hire american workers, regardless of color. As I recall there are about 20 million illegals and about 20 million black americans out of work. Does any one else see a possible solution here?

Which is the reason why I removed all Mozilla products from my computers and will never install them again. Free speech means that you occasionally have to allow things to be said that you disagree with. Like the Nazi marching through Skokie Ill. You let them have their say, you have yours and you move on. But in this case the fascist homosexuals want people removed from their jobs for disagreeing with them.
Well, I still have the right to refuse to do business with people I disagree with. And Mozilla and OKCupid, I disagree with you. You have lost my business and will not regain it while you fascist are still in power.
