It is not supposed to be cold in this desert, however, it is. Elsie, I am currently experiencing an envy right now….. wishing I were in Tulum (or any place in the Yucatan or Carib) enjoying my coffe.

I knew it! I have been resisting twitter with a passion, alas, have succumbed to texting and wonder how I survived without that cell phone.

Thanks, Wiley - for both chuckles.

Apparently GT is taking a trip down memory lane this week…

    • I think people are past the elections, however, Doonesbury is all about the politics which has no “end” date.

All of Mr. Breathed comics have been among my favorites. I cheered when he brought back Opus - even if it was only on Sundays!. Mr. B is a truly talented, witty, and creative cartoonist. His work will be greatly missed. I’m glad I bought all the books from waaaay back when.

    A sigh and a tear……

Love this strip! Love all of Berkeley’s characters and have the books. REALLY gonna miss Opus, one of the main highlight of my Sunday mornings!

Hope his “forever” is in his field of dandelions with his friends and the loving, lovely ladies he so fantasized about.
