Its = possessive pronoun. It’s = it is. Why is this so hard?

Am I the only one who remembers that B.D. is a recovering alcoholic? Oh yeah, it’s fiction…

You beat me to that one. We already know Sophie and the Dad are Star Trek fans, so it’s likely that Mr. Anderson would know about L-space.

Mr. Thompson: My grandfather and father both suffered from PD. Medical advances helped my father stay active, far more than his father, and I hope the subsequent medical advances afford you further relief.

For any readers who are interested, I contribute annually to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, and I highly recommend contributing to them or one of the other groups dedicated to research and treatment of PD.

It’s a shame that its brain didn’t retain any information about the difference between a contraction and a third person possessive pronoun.

It’s also a shame that no editor caught this before publication.

During his medical leave, is Richard Thompson writing the strip, while others are drawing it, or are the substitutes doing everything?

@pibbert—thanks. My father was a Parkinson’s sufferer, and I hope Mr. Thompson can soon return to work.

The artwork seems different (particularly Petey in the second panel). Is this an older strip, was there a substitute inker at work, or is this just a slight variation in the normal course of doing a daily strip?
