    Here is a factoid for you: 95% of the cosmetics sold in the USA are produced by three companies: Ben Nye, Mehron and Kryolan. That is why colors and color names are so similar.


    The interesting thing is that all three companies started as theatrical make-up manufacturers and still do a major business in that area.

    In Mexican Spanish the only accented characters are the ñ and Ñ.


    But Brazilian Portuguese has so many alternate characters it iseasy to pronounce, but with more than 40 accented characters, it is hard to keyboard. In the Linotype days we had to have nearly 150 accented sorts for a standard 1500 matrix body font.

    You should read what passes for “quality writing” at the college level. You would think that their Enlish education stopped in the third grade.
