Many is the time that I’m outside toiling away with yard work and I just decide to drop everything and spend time just beholding my horses. I imagine a unicorn would be more like a human: self-centered and resentful and you could only stand so much of them. Just as well they’re mythical. The horse is perfect as is. No need to ruin them with magic and human traits. I’m not a big fan of centaurs either. Why ruin a perfectly good horse by putting half a human where his head should be? Good cartoon, though.

Recently I got a sense of déjà vu that also came with a very profound thought. As soon as the déjà vu passed, so did the thought. I didn’t remember anything about it other than it was there.

Bob’s retort should include something about Frank’s horrible grammar in the midst of such condescension. “I’ll cook … for … I.”

As soon as there’s a case of a black suspect fully cooperating with white police and still ends up dead, then I’ll start to think something isn’t right here. When will people learn that if you resist arrest, you could die? Oh, wait. It’s criminals that fight with police. We can’t expect them to be good. They’re bad guys. But cops are supposed to be good guys, so when one of them goes bad, it’s an outrage and all good citizens must join with the criminals and make a united front against the police.

Man fights cop. Cop shoots man. Cop plants taser. Cop gets charged with murder. Seems like everyone got what was coming to them here. As far as reading the cop’s mind to determine if he would have reacted differently to a white suspect? Well that’s clearly only a skill race-obsessed liberals have. It’s a wonder random liberals off the street aren’t mandated as witnesses to racial bias in trials yet.

Now this is a refreshing change of pace. In all the years I’ve been a member of GoComics, I don’t recall ever seeing a cartoon mentioning rescuing horses. Instead, we’re constantly asked to find amusement in their suffering and death. Good man, Randy! And 2003 was the year my quarter horse was born. He just turned 12 three days ago.

Making fun of Jeb’s name like that, reminds me of how the libs jumped all over Joe the Plumber because “his name’s not eve Joe” when his middle name is in fact Joseph. Apparently if you’re not sophisticated enough to go by your full legal first name, you’re a right-wing moronic hillbilly. “Hey, Bill Clinton’s name isn’t even Bill! His real first name doesn’t even start with B! Ha, what a redneck.” No, I never heard that either.

And wouldn’t it be more consistent if you went by Tedr? That is if assuming your real first name is Theodore and you’re only using the odd numbered letters in your name?

I said no to drugs once. After I took them I still had a headache.

DEAD HORSE JOKE. And besides as atrocities against horses go, surely living horses didn’t go to glue factories, did they? But then again, knowing humans, and what they still do to horses, it wouldn’t surprise me.
