Could Tracy be looking to meet someone hiding in Hootin’ Holler?
(I wouldn’t recommend it to the Witness Protection Program.)

Meanwhile, in the city, Sam and Lizz have busted Hans and Fritz, the Katzenjammer Kids, for vandalism, felonious mischief, and attacking the captain (theirs, not the Chief) with a baboon.

    Love Joe’s art today.
Has to be tougher for him to combine his usual style with pure cartoon than it was to draw like Harold Grey.

I don’t think this is a new story thread, but part of that “catching up.”
Just what he’d have to catch up on in Hootin’ Holler, though, is beyond me.

Forget Leena the Hyena – I want Supifyin’ Jones!

    Wow!
I’m as surprised by the comments as I am to see Barney Google!
(I was expecting a loud chorus of shouts of horror and anger!)
Looks like most people agree with me, that it’s fun to see the other characters visit the Tracyverse.

    You’re thinking of Bob Kane.
Gil Kane was one of (in my not very humble opinion) best comics artists in the 60’s and 70’s. He was the regular artist for both Green Lantern and the Atom at DC, and drew the Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man, Captain America, etc. for Marvel.
GIl is also credited as creating the first graphic novel, Blackmark, in 1971.
    (Yeah, I’m correcting myself here.)

I agree. Much more likely a Citizen Kane movie reference.
(Unless Mike has found a song or band named Candy Cane…Then all bet’s are off.)

The casual behavior of everyone in the MCU makes me wonder about all those open cases we’d been discussing – the Nitrates, Abner’s cadaver, the Blackhearts, etc.
You know, the ones Warbuck’s case pulled them off of?

Relax, everyone – this is NOT a cross-over. It is only a test.
Had it been an actual cross-over, there would have been a red-hired character (Annie, Hot-Shot Charlie, or Hank O’Hair) somewhere in the strip.
