Speaking of jpuzzle, he hasn’t been around for a while, has he?

You can read it that way, sure, but I like my literal approach — first snap of the season complete to Knox Foley for 22 yards.

I remember The Ghost and Bobby Big Stuff. Those guys were obnoxious mainly for their boasting, weren’t they? I can see why Jarrod wouldn’t be thrilled about True’s arrival, but he’s treating him with an over-the-top hostility.

Has there been a bigger jerk than Jarrod in the annals of Milford High? Veteran readers will know. I’ve only been following since the advent of the Internet — neither St. Louis paper carried Gil when I was a kid. I’d see him for a month every summer in the Memphis paper while visiting my grandmother, then wonder how things turned out when I went back home.

I would like to know what Marjie said to prompt this protestation from Jarrod. Maybe, “Come on, kid, nobody is so lame that they grow up dreaming of playing quarterback for Milford.”

You can’t see the whole banner. It actually says GONADS and points the way to the men’s room.
