Storks have been associated with babies and delivery for centuries. Not sure why he would need to steal it from anyone.

My house is 45F right now. Much warmer than outside during the winter (although it was a bit colder when it was in the negatives.) People that visit know what temp I keep my house. And if they’re here for any length of time, they wear a coat in my house.

It’s a little different when you never leave the cold temperatures (although I hardly consider 45 cold). If you really REALLY love the cold temperatures like you say you do, lower your house to 45 for a week and see how long you last in shorts and a T.

I don’t think you two are talkin about the same thing. EIC is Earned Income Credit. No idea what that T you put in there means. I’m single, live alone, and got it a few times when I was in the US military.

Jesus thought of everyone equally, and loved everyone. It’s recorded a few times in the gospels. Matthew 5:39, for example. And he is King.

Bears don’t hibernate. It’s a myth. They slow down, but don’t sleep the whole winter. 5 seconds with google disproves the hibernation myth.

This is even more amusing because Rat did a thing on phones in Pearls, as well. So 2 strips have loads of comics reminiscing!

This is SO true. People are constantly trying to change what a word means. Just look through the Urban Dictionary some time. I was looking up an alternate definition of a word, that I already knew had an alternate one, but someone else tacked on ANOTHER entirely different meaning. It, of course, had to do with the nasty three letter s word, but most of those alternate meanings do.

And as for ‘curse’ words, in some places they’re used so commonly, they’re just another word. Mostly adjectives, but usage may vary.

Your link works. Just so you know. As a normal link. At least for me. Your mileage may vary. Look both ways before crossing the street.

This series has really lost me. Why on earth would anyone other than his boss need to call his personal phone? It’s a coffee bar. Not an office where he has to coordinate with a dozen people. It lacks any sort of funny.

Unfortunately, this one was so poor compared to his other recent endeavors, that it didn’t even elicit a smile. It’s just sad.
