The irony being, in most western countries the ones responsible for bombing other countries on pretty much any pretext are called “Department of Defence”.
Used to be the War Department, but apparently that is passé.
Dead end construction project job, pays well enough but has an incompetent client, incompetent contract, designers who are in it until the cash runs out but who don’t see their output is their problem, and not enough people who do care about the forthcoming train wreck to make a difference.
My own boss thinks abuse from the client and contractor towards myself is OK, and tells me to shut up about it and ‘not get emotional’.
Sorry, I’m a trained, qualified professional, I don’t have to accept it. He wouldn’t himself anyway.
