However you new selection with re-do by Jourdain are a lot better in the new version of 1 July, 2018:Selection – new selection much better for the actual exchange … an action rather than a listening.Artwork re-do – the re-do takes full advantage of the possibilities that couldn’t have been realized in the original, both technically to reproduce and appropriate to the times and visual understandings of mass pub readerships.. Great editing and recoloring !!!

Why original has more menace. Original has shake lines on threatened figure. Thretened figure ’s arm and hand have red outline from off-register printing. Flat colors and Ben Day have more here-and-now sense of immediacy re old daily newspapers. New version while excellently done has romanticized the feeling of the interaction with background colorization and dramatic lighting of the faces rather than the flat flashbulb faces of the original. Just my guess.
