An anniversary party celebrates both the bride and the groom. Why is this a party specifically for Brad? It takes two. Both Toni and Brad should be celebrated.
Bird Droppings: No, she left because of the mean-spirited Australian woman. Mochi was going through some tragedies in life and Ricardo Shilly-Shally was trying to help and support her. Then, Ozzie Mary butted in and started insulting Mochi deeply. Mochi left the group, crying and nobody’s heard from her since. You’ve got to be careful how you treat people on the internet. You don’t really know them and something you say could set them off. Ricardo was trying to help someone who had a lot of problems and then Ozzie Mary butts in and ruins everything.
Bird Droppings: try not to be like Ozzie Mary. Be careful what you say to people. And don’t make jokes about Mochi.
Perhaps a cultural difference?
That’s just it. Toni’s NOT on her feet a lot at her job.
Like I said before, compared to most other jobs, firefighters don’t spend much time on their feet. Doctors, nurses, mail carriers, waiters and waitresses, store clerks, territory managers, and many others spend more time on their feet. Firefighters, when not actually fighting fires, sit around on Lazi-Boys®, watching big screen TV. Greg even did a Sunday joke on that.
He’s always like that.
We must be reading different comics. In the first panel, he appears unpleasantly surprised that Toni changed the plan without talking to him. In the second panel, he looks like he wants to bite TJ’s head off. In the third panel, he looks mad at Toni. “Studly gift”? What’s studly about a foot massager?
What’s Brad p*ssed about? He should be happy his acquaintances showed up. What a Van Dyke.
Ignatz: That’s basic Brad. He can be a real jerk. I never liked him.
Why are the Knuckleheads there in uniform? Shouldn’t they be back at the firehouse watching “Dirty Dancing”?
