I assumed he meant the year itself (since it’s the only possible antecedent from the information we’re given)…

    For now.

This was hilarious. Actually laughed aloud!

This isn’t a sad comment on life these days.

This is a happy comment on life these days.

These days, we recognize that a woman of any age has every right to determine who does and does not touch her.

Little girls who are in command of their own bodies become women who don’t just smile who someone touches her against her wishes or without permission. We need more of this!

And this is from 2000? Le sigh. We didn’t know how good we had it.

Dangerbunny, thanks for that! I didn’t know about his other strip.

  9. over 7 years ago on Pearls Before Swine

Okay, look. I’m not a pun fan. But this could’ve used an extra panel, maybe been a Sunday strip… You use a full-body sculpture of Anne Meara that has a noticeable derriere. Then the punch line because “Objects in the rear view Meara are closer than they appear.”

Funny how I never hear black people saying that there’s no such thing as race.

Race exists, and social scientists still study it. Social constructs are real. If you’re looking from a zoological perspective, there’s no such thing as a President of the United States, but nobody doubts that we have one. If you’re looking from political, social, economic, cultural perspectives… Of course race is real. It’s ridiculous to argue otherwise.
