    Or if profit margin gets too low, reroute R&D budget previously used to create new products and eliminate inefficiencies and purchase lobbyists and campaign donations. The resulting tax loopholes and legislative friction to your competitors will increase your profit margin. Thanks Adam Smith!

    This “selfish lover” theory seems particularly applicable to this nation, since SCOTUS deemed corporations as people. People without any of the moral conscience of actual people, but with all the selfish greed, lawyers, lobbyists, campaign contributions, and arbitration clauses that our wealthiest have to offer.

    You DO have the power. You can become your iwn island nation anytime you wish. OR… you choose to stay here because when a nation is built collectively, it is more beneficial to you, using roads, utilities, peacekeepers, etc. paid for through public taxation.

    Ah. I was interpreting as gun rights advocates trying to stop gun violence by changing nothing. Or just pretending there’s no problem in our society. But I realize my concept’s basic flaw is believing that they actually want to correct our issues.
