Fascism is socialism. That is a quote from Hitler. Social democracies do not have a higher standard of living in countries that are more libertarian in their reliance on the freedom of people, the free enterprise system, and capitalism. Germany is the only country in the European Union which has been showing any growth in the last 10 years and it is tepid at best. Europe is the only continent whose economy is shrinking. Robber barons such as Rockefeller made their money by decreasing the cost of a gallon of gasoline for the average person from five dollars a gallon to $.25 a gallon. Corporations are nothing if they are not people and even the word corporation comes from corporate which means people. If it was not for religion, specifically Judeo Christian teachings, we would not have this country and its freedoms.
