The problem with the analogy is that yelling “FIRE” in a crowded theater is actually legal, IF there is an actual fire. And if the guy really does wet the bed, it may not be a slanderous statement. All the laws in the world could never keep someone from yelling “FIRE” in a crowded theater. It would be illegal, but they would have the ability to do it.
Current gun control propositions would be the equivalent of removing someone’s larynx or tongue, thereby removing the ABILITY to ay “FIRE” in a crowded theater. The obvious problem with that is when there actually is a fire, no one can warn the rest of the theater.
Shooting someone with your concealed weapon may or may not be legal. Depends what is going on. It may be cold blooded murder, or it may be self defense. But carrying the weapon should be legal.
