Uncle Joe, how do you know that Iran has dismantled their nuclear program. There have been NO inspections since the signing of the accord. Iran will allow no one to verify that they have followed the agreements. Should we just take their word for it?

The nuclear weapons have not been refurbished as much as is necessary. The radioactivity has lasting negative effects on the electronics, and, if not rebuilt every few years they get undependable. How does a country remain competitive militarily with radioactive lumps? With Obama’s appeasement policies, already Putin and numerous other leaders figure that the US is a paper tiger and are rattling cages around the world. Without serious weapons, the US can no longer be the “policeman” of the world. Contrary to Lefty desires, if we are nice, and turn our swords into plowshares, the other parts of the world do not sing Kumbaya. They take it as a sign of weakness and plan trouble.

I don’t know why the reindeer would be so happy. Since the Arctic Pipeline was built, the Deer population has increased dramatically. The heat given off by the pipeline has increased the forage during the winter, resulting in more animals surviving.

The Republican Party is destroying itself, scrambling to disassociate from Trump. China is shooting itself in the foot over a phone call … a phone call initiated by Taiwan, not Trump. China needs us as much as we need them. With millions of mouths to feed, it will be impossible to return to the Communistic days, since those millions are now aware what the possibilities are of cooperation with the US. China always rattles sabres at any country that looks like it could have leaders strong enough to stand up to their rhetoric. Obama did not have the marbles to stand up for the US. His apology tour did nothing but bring problems to the US because he proved that we were weak and that he would not use our power to prevent attacks on us and other countries. Then he emasculated our military. I don’t know if Trump will do any better. We will have to wait until he is actually in office to see.

You forgot to include those who have given up looking for a job and gone on welfare.

Your figures do not include those who gave up looking for a job and went on welfare.

The First Amendment doesn’t come into play when the statement is burning cars and businesses and beating up dissenters.

No disrespect, but do you think that the kid who quit high school could be a good Defense Secretary? How about the person who got Ds in high school Civics? The people he has chosen have all proved themselves as intelligent successful decision makers as proven by their salaries or net worth. This is and has been the measure of capability for centuries.
