Comics / Comic books have been used by teachers recently to encourage kids who hate to read to get started reading. Why not? If Spider-Man is your thing, who’s to say it’s not great literature to a 2nd grader who might never pick up the classics later? Reading is reading.
Easily on par with my personal favorite from last summer, “Look, now I am standing on no legs!” (Marigold with horn impaled in high tree branch, all four hooves dangling)!
For as much as I’ve tired of the drama for Luann, I have to agree that Greg’s handling this long distance relationship thing pretty well. Doesn’t mean I don’t want it to stop…I definitely want it to end, tired of seeing Luann hurting all the time. I do think that Quill has proven himself to be serious about her..have him back in the fall as a permanent character. Time for them to be together.
