Young lady, it’s the job of your parents to take you on vacation, not mine. And if I was even remotely inclined to take you anywhere on vacation, you just blew it! Young man, keep acting like you snotty sister and see how far it gets you. Now, both of you get out of my sight!

  2. almost 5 years ago on Daddy's Home

Please, just hit me. Then I’ll enjoy some peace and quiet while you’re being booked for assault and battery.

  3. about 5 years ago on Baldo

I can remember being in my Uncle Gus’ ’59 Impala 348 and burying the speedometer on a stretch of uncompleted interstate. Smooth ride unless there were many bumps, then the standard too-soft suspension made it feel like we were at sea, LOL!

  4. about 5 years ago on Heart of the City

While I can enjoy graphic novels, if they constitute the majority of one’s reading, I think imagination suffers. One of the best things about reading is forming the mind-pictures from what an author writes.

  5. about 5 years ago on Amanda the Great

You bring a bit ‘o joy to your readers. That’s better than most do.

  6. about 5 years ago on Amanda the Great

So…where are you ducting the hot air from the portable a/c?

  7. about 5 years ago on Baldo

Yep, explaining how a bully hurts someone’s self esteem works…almost never.

  8. about 5 years ago on Zack Hill

Didn’t take President Bush. Stuff smells like cabbage and that’s all it takes.

  9. about 5 years ago on Daddy's Home

“Ha! You’re correct, Peg. I didn’t think this marriage to you through at all!”

  10. about 5 years ago on Cul de Sac

Cue the poor waiter, rolling eyes and wishing they were sitting under the boat!
