   Greg doesn’t seem to be in any rush to resolve the issue of where TJ, Brad, or Toni will live, once Brad and Toni get married. He keeps hinting they’ll end up adopting Shannon, so they need to get hitched soon if they want the adoption to happen anytime soon.

   What would be an interesting development would be if Aaron Hill moved back from Hawaii and hooked up with Tiffany, who he always seemed to like better. Then Luann would have no competition for Quill, and could show Aaron she’s moved on. But then Quill would probably move back to Australia, and since Luann has determined she wants Gunther to be with Maria, maybe Luann would end up with Elvis (Elroy)? There sure seem to be a lot less dating prospects in Luann’s life than my daughters ever had. They had a different guy every week.

   Notice how in the last episode of the current-day strip, Brad is on the phone with Toni and he mentions she’s coming over in an hour? I don’t remember Toni being in the same vicinity as Brad’s parents since Luann’s school musical, so apparently she’s welcome there and Toni and Brad’s mom are friends now? Still waiting for Brad to pop the question…

   Are the grandparents still alive? I don’t remember ever seeing these grandparents before, but this is vintage from before I started following the strip. At any rate, grandma looks an awful lot like Mrs Hornsley (or whatever the name is of the old lady who Brad & TJ now live in the house she formerly owned).

   Enough already. Let’s see what TJ and Ann are up to! I will be very disappointed if Greg doesn’t allow TJ to make good on his promise to double sales. TJ also needs to become a celebrity chef and come out with a new line of gourmet hot dogs for WW that has people lined down the street to buy.

   Didn’t TJ already burn down one kitchen he was working in? WW may be the next, and there will be Brad to put out the fire!

   It’s unfortunate that Greg is featuring an arc on revenge. Not good values to be featuring in a family strip. I guess we still don’t know where TJ REALLY gets his rent money from, if this job is just a farce and he has the free time to be putting on this “payback” scheme…

   The two sleeziest characters in the strip just paired up. Will they fall in love? After all, every other character has been paired up except TJ and Delta. This could become very interesting, especially if TJ’s plan involves more than merely trying to get revenge for Brad. Maybe we’ll finally get to find out where TJ really gets his money from? He never misses his rent and obviously has cash to spare (obtained legal-ish-ly), and has great culinary skills. I always figured he was a chef. So WW would be a big step down for him. On the other hand, he may be such a whiz in the kitchen he turns WW into a nationally-famous gourmet restaurant. But then will Ann try to take credit, or will corporate WW make him Ann’s replacement or higher?

    As I read today’s episode, Mariah Carey’s All I want for Christmas is YOU was playing. That song seems meant for today’s final frame (oh, and Brad? There will never be a better moment for you to propose to Toni than right now):
