“Bernice v Stef” would be a clash of the Titans, a match I would love to see. B would shred Stef. The other two girls, Bets and Dez are too lame or self-centered to do anything about her.
As much as I dislike Bets, she does come through now and then. Today wasn’t one of those times. So glad that Tiff bailed. She’ll be able to set some better boundaries between herself and lame friends, Bets and Dez, to say nothing of being done with the Karen and her boy-toy.
It means rice is pretty bland without spice. It’s a way of excusing Stef’s behavior, and as such both Dez and Bets wimped out. I love Dez, she’s only weird to those who never left conventional reality.
That’s how life works. Sometimes the politics is stacked against you, and there is nothing you can do but leave. Nobody will listen anyway. I’ve been thru workplace situations similar to this, and walked, just like Tiff. You have to know when to lose, and how to lose, and what isn’t worth fighting for.
