Same here! Love the tabletop! Planted a small, dwarf evergreen next to my front door, so we get that great pine scent as we walk inside! A string of lights on it, fast, easy & looks great! Nothing wrong with making Christmas easy & stress-free! More time to enjoy the season!

Loving the storyline! In response to some of the comments;, they have been together for quite a while now. Years. Also, love the Moody Blues quote! Days of Future passed? Also, for some of the guys, her first husband died when Alix was very young, so Alix does not remember him at all. Lastly, it has been a very entertaining strip, one of the best storylines around. Guys, if you do not like it, do not read it.

And that is why kids today all have to have a trophy so their little feelings aren’t hurt because they did not win. No 1st, 2nd places, etc.. Now they are “awarded” trophies for “participation”. Grandpa has it right, but our generations’ principles have died thanks to political correctness.

Refreshing to see the Christian Nativity scene. I get tired of the secular commercialism in the comics, with Santa, etc.. Thanks !

I agree. It is also faster to simply call someone You can say 100x more in a quick conversation than taking the same amount of time to text. . If I get voicemail, then I text. Texting is just too slow. Good for situations where you do not want people to hear your phone call, though.

I am so happy that the story line has continued. This has been one of the best , & the expressions on the characters ( especially Phil & Val when the speak with each other) have just been hilarious!

That is true. I very rarely become ill @ the age of 58 because I never joined the hand sanitizer craze nor the disinfect everything craze. (Hospitals need it, though). You must let your home ventilate whenever possible during nice weather, & even on sunny winter days, crack a window or two for an hour. Get plenty of mild exercise & fresh air, (I study tai chi & martial arts) & try to keep moving throughout the day. Eat well, but everything in moderation. Make decisions about your life & how to reduce stress, & you will increase your percentages of living to a healthy, ripe old age with an excellent quality of life. We have just one, make it count!

What does he live on? Looks too young for social security, which won’t be around in a few years anyhow.
