I’m right with ya, firebrand. the US has been battered pretty regularly over the past decade and especially during the last 8-yrs. at least now we have a fighting chance to start climbing out of the hole. HNY to all!
a buddy was a cop in town for many years and always enjoyed stopping folks who didn’t bother to clean off their windows before hitting the street. he’d always give them a choice. option 1, get out and clean off all of the windows or, option 2, get a ticket and then get out and clean off all of the windows. option 1 was usually preferred.
the pharmacist always asks me…“Are you still at 1234 Main Street?” to which I usually answer…“No, the house is still there but I’m right here!” it usually gets a laugh.
