    Ditty. D-I-T-T-Y. Ditty.

Roger Ebert was a phenomenal writer in addition to being a savvy critic. I loved coming home from a movie and going to his website to see what Roger thought of the movie. If I’d loved it, I found his review brought back all the wonderful feelings I’d experienced during the movie; if I’d hated it, not only did he nearly always agree with me (or vice-versa!) but his reviews of terrible movies nearly always made up for the ordeal of sitting through them. I will miss him.

All the Blockbuster Videos (and the Rogers Video) in my city closed down in the past year and a half, but two new independent stores have opened, and they seem to be doing a thriving business!

Really? We have two of them in our kitchen which are used quite regularly – and neither of us were alive in the early 60s!

I’ve been known to react the same way as Leopold when watching Dexter. Is that a bad thing? Oh, and @Darren Blair, Dexter is a blood spatter analyst, not a police officer! He witnessed his mother’s horrific murder as a small child and was raised by a police officer who realized he’d adopted a sociopath and taught him how to kill without getting caught.

Butter tarts are a Canadian delicacy. I’m a horrible, horrible Canadian … I’m not a big fan. WAY too sweet!

Saw this in the paper this morning and it was so poorly coloured I couldn’t even tell what it was! It looks great here though!

My big, tough, ex-miltary husband LOVES the yarn store. Mind you, he also enjoys crocheting … don’t knock it ’til you try it!
