   It’s quite possible that the information about the Wii streaming Netflix was not in the news, but rather was an advertisement for the Wii on the page Wally is reading.

   Not offending me. I clicked delete to try and get rid of the duplicates, but it will not delete them for whatever reason. As for editing the original version, when I wrote the first post, it kept giving me an error when I tried to actually post it so I had no way of knowing that it was actually posting. I only discovered that when I returned to this site several hours later. So REALLY…I’m trying to correct it ;) Teasing you there in case that didn’t come through. Oh, and I’ve got an e-mail into the help desk to deal with the issue.

   It may be that Wally was just trying to make some conversation and he’s not going to be eating the ham. Poor Holly, boy trouble at that age is so hard. It’s really her first heartbreak. :(

   Hmmm…maybe Jordan thinks she just wants to use him as a “mask” for her true boyfriend who wouldn’t be acceptable to her mom? Hopefully, that is the case, Otherwise, OUCH!

   I’ve always thought it odd that this strip is set in Eugene, Oregon because it rarely snows there, at least not in the way it’s shown when it’s Winter time in the strip. I went to college in Eugene (GO DUCKS) and I can only remember one year when it heavily snowed and that melted away pretty quickly. The weather is not done correctly for the setting if it is Eugene.

   I now live in Texas and I-10 West covers a large area here so putting that in the strip makes me think she’s trying to set the strip in the southwest/Texas area.

   Whatever the case and whatever the setting is supposed to be, it’s a great strip and I’ve enjoyed reading it for many years so thanks Jan!

   @VikThor - I think Kab had the school counselor talk to her daughter because the boy in question was spreading rumors at the school about Kab’s daughter and Kab wanted the counselor to talk to her daughter so the counselor would know what went on and why this boy was doing that so he could be stopped by the school officials.

   Give the girl a break Val! Middle school is when both sexes are motivated to do a lot of things by the other. Hopefully, those things are positive. In this case, they are - Holly is doing well in school. Be glad of that.

    The office won’t decide it doesn’t need Wally at all considering he owns the office:) He runs his own insurance business if I remember correctly.
