I just noticed that the easter egg in ‘contact’ is different than the one in the RSS feed, which shows up as a header. At least in this instance, see “bacteria farts” above.

I just checked his site, thanks for the alt tip on the mobile site, Ryan. I’d been typing out the alt text for mobile users who couldn’t figure out how to see it, now I don’t have to. The header for today’s (on his site) is “long story short: everyone you’ve ever loved evolved to breathe bacteria farts”. And he is particularly proud of today’s alt text, PipeTobacco, check it out.

The mouseover alt text doesn’t work on this site, so he helpfully provides it. It does work on the new comics on his site, and also when you get it delivered to your feed reader. The RSS feed also includes a header which doesn’t show up on his site, sort of an alt alt.
Be sure to check out the new ones on his site if you don’t already.

You mean like the 2-1 18 inning game yesterday with 16 pitchers? Sort of glad it wasn’t available on my TV, but I’m sure it was scintillating. “We’ll take a break here for a new pitcher…” Rinse, repeat.

    I agress to that.

Many dogs snap at and eat bees and yellowjackets with no problems. I don’t think they have to be particularly stupid dogs, just reg’ler stupid. Thinking back, I don’t recall one snapping at a big wasp or hornet though, so maybe they aren’t all that dumb.

Try Moone Boy, an Irish sitcom on some PBS stations currently, even with the CC, some of the expressions are beyond me.

He does seem to be using gormy in the opposite sense of gormless, judging from the context. Reminds me of a Seinfeld conversation about “debunked”, and trying out its opposite, “bunked”.
    BTW, that’s one handsome kitteh!
