Many dogs snap at and eat bees and yellowjackets with no problems. I don’t think they have to be particularly stupid dogs, just reg’ler stupid. Thinking back, I don’t recall one snapping at a big wasp or hornet though, so maybe they aren’t all that dumb.

Try Moone Boy, an Irish sitcom on some PBS stations currently, even with the CC, some of the expressions are beyond me.

He does seem to be using gormy in the opposite sense of gormless, judging from the context. Reminds me of a Seinfeld conversation about “debunked”, and trying out its opposite, “bunked”.
    BTW, that’s one handsome kitteh!

I’d encourage anyone not already familiar with it to check out “They’re made out of meat” by Terry Bisson. There’s also a very good short film made from it.

Maybe it says something about me, but I kinda like that little weasel. In addition to his attitude, he seems to be the most grounded and rational of all the characters, except for perhaps Rob, and even there it may be a draw.

I would encourage you to check out the wiki page on Dinosaur Comics, or Ryan’s site. I understand these are older strips. New to me, I still haven’t got thru the whole archive. The newest strips are available elsewhere, I get them in a reader. I think it will grow on you, and it will quickly become a daily habit.
