Sounds like the stuff coming out of Fox “News”…and other “alternate facts” sources. Where I live in Japan, that certainly isn’t the set of facts that the international community is getting. Rather the opposite, as a matter of fact.

No rumour. FBI cyber-security specialists have said that the malware found was clearly Russian in origin and with “signatures” found recently in other Russian Intelligence hacks into other foreign governments. The real question is whether it is part of a broader strategy to undermine the West or to try to influence the US election.

Well, seeing as it is congress that actually “decides” (not never, but certainly rarely) to spend any money in D.C. regardless of the obvious needs of the people, you can lay the blame directly at their feet. Any spending bills that are approved by the DC city council and mayor (and even people) have to go through Congress to be appropriated. So, in fact, it is the U.S. Congress that isn’t interested in working (certainly not themselves and “hey!, who needs jobs?” since they get paid whether they actually do any work or not).

Well done Jase99! And for any that want to learn just about all one needs to know about Afghanistan, read the book “Far Pavilions.” Obviously, no one in “power” during the Bush/Cheney years in either politics or the military has ever studied that part of the world historically. But this “novel” tells the well-documented story of Afghanistan in terms that should scare the bejesus out of any nation contemplating military action there.

Wait a minute FishDog93…who killed a balanced budget and put the country into trillions of dollars in debt? The Dems? Funny, I thought that the guys that did that were Republicans, the same as every other time the country has spent like a newly paid sailor on shore leave, leaving it to the Dems to clean up the mess and re-set the economy.

Remember: it happened because of the Patriot Act instituted by none other than President Bush. Experts said at the time that what the government was going to do with that was take away the rights and liberty of the American people. The American people said, “Please take away our rights, our liberty and freedom to protect us against those terrible terrorists…oh, and please start a war for us, too.” The people were warned by statesmen and justices on both sides of the political divide—-most conservatives, however, said “President Bush and John Ashcroft won’t use it against US…just against those terrorists.” So, please…don’t blame it on the Obama Administration. Nope. Just the 99%. There’s little difference these days between bankers and loan sharks.
