Second frame: Amen! The disease today is that kindness is seen as weakness!

And the voices who serve the people

Must be the ones who start

    To mold a new reality

    Closer to the heart

    Closer to the heart

    The wordsmith and the statesmen

    Reflect it in their art

    They forge their creativity

    Closer to the heart

    Closer to the heart

    Philanthropists and workers

    Each must know their part

    To grow a new mentality

    Closer to the heart

    Closer to the heart

    They can be the captains

    We will draw the chart

    Sailing into destiny

    Closer to the heart

See Carmen, third panel !! That’s what’s wrong. He’s willing to start and you can only throw shade. Right there, wrong, wrong answer.

Republicans need to borrow money to afford the liberal welfare tax breaks for the rich.

What else can you do besides force people on Food Stamps to buy only canned goods?

Republican hypocrisy has never been more obvious.

Reminds me of back when Texas was considering a new state motto. One of the proposed mottoes was “The Friendship State.” A great hue and cry went up from the populace because, you know, who wants to be known as friendly? They’d rather be seen as jerks, I guess.

because each side is so sure that they are right, and many have built their identity or beliefs or ideal around that. To say it might not be completely so has become more and more impossible so they react with insults and attacks whenever questioned – many times because they really don’t know the details, they only know what they’ve been told (the headlines or maybe bullet points).
