Benjamin Franklin said (I think) the man who reads a thousand books is an interesting and agreeable companion; the man who reads only one is a dangerous enemy.

Same thing applies to unexamined convictions.

Inadvertently or, perhaps, advertently, Scott let Winslow have the upper hand!
And he was right, too, you know.
As for Carmen, what can you say? Everything she said was easy for her to say.
After all, she wasn’t the one who was turned into a barrel cactus!

So, it is better to do nothing that to take a chance on being wrong?

Sometimes, yes. Because sometimes being wrong carries a much larger price than you might see at first.

Darsan for once I agree with you. A perfect example is obamacare. They were trying to do good (I hope) and ended up doing great harm. I am glad to see that you are honest enough to admit that in the case of obamacare “being wrong carries a much larger price than you might see at first”.

Justice delayed is justice denied. See “IRS

Being wrong carries a much larger price; contra, see “Benghazi.” But if you like your video-riot story, you can keep your video-riot story.

Like the Ring from Mordor, Obamacare was taken from the Republicans so it is bad and stiil will be bad. Single Payer is better, cheaper and easier. Too bad Obama is too Conservative for it.

Typical liberal. Your so proud of Obamacare until it proves to be a disaster and then instead of saying your right this doesn’t work lets get rid of it, you say well it was a Republican idea. How many Republicans in the house and senate voted for it? Obamacare was not taken from the Republicans no many times you say it. ONE, ONE Republican govenor put in place in a very small state a health care plan with many differences. Plus in that state you are not forced under penalty of law to use it. It also did not punish business’s and it did not outlaw existing plans ruining peoples live by forcing them into something they can not afford. Come Night I know you want to say it so I will help you. Come on everybody on three “IT’S ALL BUSH’S FAULT”.

“Single payer” is a smoke screen. If the Government is the “single payer” for everyone, how does the Gov. pay for it? The Government doesn’t earn money, it takes from the taxpayer. No government program has ever contained costs or effectively addressed fraud. Our country’s epitaph will be: “We did the right thing and were damn fair about it.”

Amazing, but expected, how libs continue to support a proven pathological liar like the Obamanation and support his horrendous, failed concepts. Obamanationcare is just another form of welfare and will speed the economic downfall that is coming.

Obama supported Romneycare not Single Payer. You have your wires crossed. He still supports that thrice failed concept of “Trickle Down.”

Single Payer is what Obama threw out. He didn’t support it where it counted. It works, proven all over the world.
Tell me how does a govt pay for a global spanning military empire?
