    The gummint tries to maintain the pretense that the Postal Service is now independent, but the USPS has been financing their deficit for years with loans from the Treasury. (The same not-gummint fiction applies to Freddy, Fanny, and even the Fed, but it’s lies, all lies.)


    (jbmlaw: You have a valid point, but I think they are all despicable and shouldn’t exist in a free country. That’s one where the government is limited to its one moral purpose: defending the rights of individuals.)
