    Small does not mean Insignificant. “Dear God, Your ocean is so vast and my boat is so small” Does God not know each sparrow that falls, or the hairs on your head uncounted.

    If we can survive our development on Terra we can one day span the star system and eventually venture out into the wider cosmos.

    @Night-Gaunt49

    Many sci-fi stories deal with colonies of different factions from the Earth. Imagine planets ruled by just one religion, or ethnic group?

    I have, just visit Clontarf on the outer rim in 2,000 years. A sort of British-Viking kind of civilization. Knights, chivalry, holy orders etc. For them only the strong, as they see it, can survive, so they have very tough people but harsh if not barbaric by most standards.
