A small town in the American Southwest... everything in the desert is designed to prick you, wound you or eat you. What better metaphor for 21st century Earth? Prickly City is a comic strip about the friendship between Winslow, a coyote pup, and Carmen, a straight and narrow kind of kid. Prickly City offers a conservative perspective on political and social events within an ongoing storyline. As Carmen might say, "We may not be correct but we will always be right."
Their high jinks provide endless laughs as Winslow gets into trouble and Carmen follows. Join Carmen and Winslow for their adventures in the desert!

And now the Obamanation declares he has the right to use drones to kill Americans on American soil. Normally, if these people were terrorists I would agree. The point is that if a conservative president had made this claim the libs would be going hog wild denouncing him. Conservatives are supposedly the warmongers and along comes the Obamanation to demonstrate their hypocrisy.

I thought you Neoclowns would be glad the Dems are behaving the way you would! But no, you gotta object because they’re Dems!

You’re both wrong. If a principle is valid, it will carry. If it is okay under Obama, then it was okay under Bush. Likewise, if you objected when Bush did it, you must object to Obama doing it. Anything else is intellectually dishonest.

This administration is just continuing on the principles of the last one. The Govt. is not in our control, and it hasn’t been for a long time. Because just in case you haven’t noticed, only one congressman has come out hard against this and they are portraying him as a nut. Objection to killing americans on american soil should be causing riots in the halls of congress, but instead we are getting silence, from both sides of the aisles, that Is disturbingly deafening.

“Normally, if these people were terrorists I would agree.”
This is a bit of a slippery slope, it all depends on what constitutes a terrorist, and since drone strikes are carried out without a trial, the feds would be prosecutor, judge, and executioner. No American, even criminal ones, should fall into a category where they are not “protected” by the courts from militant police action.

Actually the Constution does protect them. However bills passed by the democrats and Obama eliminate that protection.

Actually, no he is not. He is following the principles established by Castro, Stalin, Chavez, and such.

people who support the president are fools. You’ll be in his sights just like the rest of us.

Using drones to kill enemy combatants in a war zone is one thing, but using drones to kill American citizens in the U.S. is unconstitutional. U.S. citizens have a right to a trial by a jury of their peers. The president can’t be judge, jury, and executioner.

“You’re both wrong. If a principle is valid, it will carry. If it is okay under Obama, then it was okay under Bush. Likewise, if you objected when Bush did it, you must object to Obama doing it. Anything else is intellectually dishonest.”
But that requires that libs either admit that Bush was correct on some things, or that Obama was wrong on some things. Either of those admissions will make their heads explode.
As for intellectual honesty from libs, I guess we can dream.

“The president can’t be judge, jury, and executioner.”
But Obama is above mere mortals, so he can ignore laws, the Constitution, or whatever he deems improper.

@randayn
Agreed. Most political parties when in office behave just like the others. Bureaucratic intransigence governs the country. Or is that bureaucratic incompetence?
Davison77 said, 3 months ago
@ Ionizer
The constitution states that the president can’t be judge, jury, and executioner. Of course that doesn’t stop some people.
