   - US taxes are at their lowest since the 1950s, and regulations are pathetically weak. There’s no “to death” here.

   - Officially, President Obama will be the best US President since FDR on 2017. Unofficially, he already is.

   Given that Roosevelt inherited a bad economy in 1932 and made it even worse for the duration of the 1930’s, your comparing him to Obama is most apt.
