A small town in the American Southwest... everything in the desert is designed to prick you, wound you or eat you. What better metaphor for 21st century Earth? Prickly City is a comic strip about the friendship between Winslow, a coyote pup, and Carmen, a straight and narrow kind of kid. Prickly City offers a conservative perspective on political and social events within an ongoing storyline. As Carmen might say, "We may not be correct but we will always be right."
Their high jinks provide endless laughs as Winslow gets into trouble and Carmen follows. Join Carmen and Winslow for their adventures in the desert!

If taxes do up the President should be held responsible, along all the Rinos.

No the only ones to blame are the President and the Democratic National Socialist Party.

No the only ones to blame lay squarely at the feet of House Speaker Boehner & Senate minority leader McConnell. Also the numb nuts that signed Grover Norquists no tax pledge & the tea partiers.

The Rebs wanted no tax cuts, now because they couldn’t bend everybody taxes go up. Smart. Grover should really be happy now.

Winslow must be like me – wanting to keep his regrets prominently fresh in mind. Yeah, I also have trouble forgiving myself.

Regrets? I’ve had a few.
But then again, too few to mention.

Explain how that is possible as obama and reed haven’t offered a plan? Everything Boener has offerd even Pelosi’s plan b obama and reed rejected? remember we are here because obama is the first president in history to never pass a budget. This includes the time that he had complete control of both house and the Republlicans could not have blocked it even if they wanted to. obama did submit one budget and not one democrat voted for it. How bad was it that even Pelosi didn’t vote for it. Please explain how the Republicans saying we have got to cut wastefull spending is reponsible? Anyone?

Actually, the house has done its job over thirty times. They have sent spending bills to the senate, where Harry Reid, at the direction of the President, has done nothing.

Tax increases have no impact on the “fiscal cliff”. If you took every dime the rich you want to tax have it would only run the bloated goverment for three months. This is all smoke and mirrors so obama can blame someone else for his failurs. The Republicans say we need to cut wastefull spending and they are correct. Look at Greece and Spain if you want to see the truth. But if you are a true obama liberal you won’t let the truth get in your way.

It is a fiscal ‘curb’ with a slope downward. The further we get into it the worse it will get.

It’s just going back to Bill Clinton’s tax rates. People act as if this is a major catastrophe. Obama was right when he said the Bush tax cuts were expensive and irresponsible. Then he decided that it would be easier to get re-elected if it supported 98% of the Bush tax cuts (once again co-opting another of Bush’s policies after trashing it for 4 years).
In reality, everyone’s taxes need to go up, and spending needs to go down. That doesn’t sell well to the electorate. Obama has managed to hide a massive tax increase on the middle class (the expiration of the payroll tax cut) that will actually bring in more money than the “tax increases on the wealthy” that he’s been harping on and on about.
