A small town in the American Southwest... everything in the desert is designed to prick you, wound you or eat you. What better metaphor for 21st century Earth? Prickly City is a comic strip about the friendship between Winslow, a coyote pup, and Carmen, a straight and narrow kind of kid. Prickly City offers a conservative perspective on political and social events within an ongoing storyline. As Carmen might say, "We may not be correct but we will always be right."
Their high jinks provide endless laughs as Winslow gets into trouble and Carmen follows. Join Carmen and Winslow for their adventures in the desert!

The rats are fleeing a sinking ship. The curtain has been pulled back & everyone can now see what a big fraud Grover Norquist really is. Now hopefully Congress can get down to doing the job they were elected to do & lead not follow charlatans like GN.

What makes Grover Norquist a fraud? Is it his support of same-sex marriage? Maybe it’s the fact he’s married to a Palestinian Muslim. Or is it his support of intellectual property rights?

Norquist and Rove are gone. Hooray!
But there’ll be another one; just like the other one.
Politics just operates that way.

The Senators and congressmen that took Grover’s “Taxpayer Protection Pledge” betrayed their oath to protect the constitution. That oath far and away takes precedence over any particular political ideology.
The sworn duty of our elected officials is to do what is right for our nation, not to inflexibly adhere to some nonsensical philosophy. When times change the American people, thru the voice of their government will change with the times. Patriotic Americans know that our great nation should not be held back by small-minded self serving demagogues, such as Norqist.

Plus, Norquist is damn lucky that he was never indicted (so far…….)

Grover Norquist is the smiling face of the Plutocrats. He does their bidding and gets well paid for it. But he should have no power at all. He shouldn’t be interfering with how govt works. We see the outcome don’t we?

@Night-Gaunt49
How is Grover Norquist interfering with government more than any other activist? Will NOW endorse a candidate who is against abortion? Norquist simply asks candidates to sign a pledge not to raise taxes in exchange for being an activist on their behalf. It is fair for him to ask candidates, once elected, to abide by their pledges if they want his future support.

@KPOM
Having politicians sign a pledge that violates what they do. Then having the funding by the Plutocrats to pressure them to continue or they are pushed out to let another weak minded agent do the dirty work.
