A small town in the American Southwest... everything in the desert is designed to prick you, wound you or eat you. What better metaphor for 21st century Earth? Prickly City is a comic strip about the friendship between Winslow, a coyote pup, and Carmen, a straight and narrow kind of kid. Prickly City offers a conservative perspective on political and social events within an ongoing storyline. As Carmen might say, "We may not be correct but we will always be right."
Their high jinks provide endless laughs as Winslow gets into trouble and Carmen follows. Join Carmen and Winslow for their adventures in the desert!

This used to be a funny and relatively even handed cartoon. I wonder what happened to spoil that???

And you are drinking the Obama kook aid

On blogs I have always referred to the current president as “Chancey” – the protagonist from “Being There.” Fits perfectly.

This has always been a right-leaning cartoon strip. If you want a left-leaning strip go visit doonsbury or candorville.

Better off?
Yes.
Get rid of the negativity and things would improve even more.

Yes, I am better off. The economy didn’t collapse, my adult children are getting jobs and we still have income. This despite the Republicans best efforts. After eight years of near fascist dominance by Republicans, I live in fear. Now, a lot less so.
Yes, my life is better than four years ago. I want it to stay that way.

The fascism has been coming from the democratic national socialist party. By the way, how do you feel about paying more taxes to support the wellfare clans?

It isn’t any more political than it was in 2009. I’m guessing Stantis will revert to the Kevin theme the actual week of the election since it’s published on a lag and we don’t know who will win for real like we did in 2008.

Doonesbury and Mallard Filmore are both partisan and have their fans. This strip (while leaning a little right) does hit both sides. Robert Anton Wilson was correct: “This country does not have consensus on free speech, what we have is lack of consensus of which speech to suppress.”
