Kevin knows a winner when he sees one. It’s interesting that Winslow preferred going with Romney.

Winslow knows you should aim to balance the ticket.

After four years all the liberals can say is that it all Bush’s fault and we just need to give obama some time. Time to do what? Do any of you know what his plan is? All liberals do is insult anybody who disagrees with obama but they never say what he is going to do to fix things. Saying he is going to raise taxes on the rich is not going to fix anyting. Lets say he gets to raise the tax rate on the rich to 50% how is that going to lower the unemployment rate? Lets say he makes all illegal alliens perminanat residents how is that going to get unemployment below 12%. Let say he makes gay marriage legal (which I support) how is that going to create jobs? He does not have a clue so he he playing all the emotional issue’s up rather than doing anything to fix the economy. Time to be honest with yourself the obama you voted for is not the obama you got.

Is Mittens the best the Reeps can come up with? Tax cuts for the rich, more tax cuts for the rich and more etc.. We have had the lowest tax rates in 30 years. WHERE ARE THE JOBS? The Reeps have no ideas at all on how to fix things but they sure know how to stop any democrat from trying to do it.

Not really. I agree that the GOP has this obsession with low rates (ignoring the spending angle completely), but it’s important to point out that sizable tax cuts in the Kennedy and Reagan years had positive impacts. Even Clinton lowered the capital gains tax rates during his administration, and made it easier for small business to convert to S-corp status. Lowering taxes in itself isn’t sufficient, but it’s incorrect to say that jacking up taxes helps the economy.
