    I remember doing things like that in the school dance class in Gym… learning dance steps like the “Cosmopolitan” or something like that… Mid 50’s i believe… hanging out against opposite walls…

    I was a wallflower; I never attended any school events.

    I remember those well: girls on one side, boys on the other, and never the twain shall meet. We, boys, were always suspicious of boys who preferred to hang out with girls. Then, around 14, that began go change.
