    He couild have been in his mid 20’s when they were in the teens, and been qualified to teach.

    You had to been there at Teena’s mom age. And with each generation comes a different perspective. And Mish is far older now than when Teena’s mom saw him.


    In Finland the best of the best teachers not only teach in their school system they are in charge of all of it. When you are good you can teach. Some things have to be taught. Woody Allen is wrong.

    Spot on, Night.
    I taught High School math and College Computer Operating Systems and Hardware – after a successful 20 year career running my own consulting firm w/5 employees (hardly massive, but it surely qualifies as ‘Doing’ in a STEM field).

    Not all teachers are there because that’s all they can do. An awful lot are there because they love the subject and love helping lead others to love it as well.

    Teena is so smart for her age. And I wonder if her school is accelerated. As in for brighter kids than normal. It certainly seems so. Or some kind of innovative school that is accelerated. I never found out.
