Perhaps teachers should keep daily logs of a class’s progress for just such an occasion. (They cover “phytobiology” in the 3rd grade now? What are they teaching in schools these days anyway?)

This may be an advanced school but the budget is still in the 1980’s. Use it till it falls apart.

I’d like to be a “King Plant” a as yet fictional plant that would have several different fruiting bodies on it to feed people.
Or a prehistoric scaly barked (extinct) Lycopsids from the Carboniferous period. They could grow straight as telephone poles to a towering height of 50 m (160 ft) in the steaming forests and oxygen rich atmosphere of 30% compared to our present one of 21%.

As your tapes age though you will get buildup on your heads & capstans and also your tapes themselves will lose their strength, then stretch and break. Better to either quickly transfer what you have to DVD’s or re-purchase.
Sorry to be a tech stick in the mud but it’s inevitable due to this type of recording medium.
Actually, its a good example of what happens to ALL of us! ;-D
