I remember having to sell candles door to door in 6th grade for some trip we wanted to take. I hated it.

My kids do so many friggen fundraisers for schools and clubs, I can’t wait for them to grow up and move out they don’t ask us to sell to our friends and co-workers. Seems they just don’t want to go door-to-door like I did when I was a kid.

I’ve discovered that when kids have that kind of job, it’s their parents who do the selling.

I remember going door-to-door selling stuff in school. These days, most parents don’t think it’s safe to let the kids do that. Hence, we get hit up by our co-workers.
