   I went to a day camp when I was 12. I hated it!
   At least today there are specialty camps (karate, science, etc) geared to whatever a kid likes–not to what adults THINK a kid likes.

   Yuck. I’m glad I never had to go to anything so stupid. I do remember going to a camp where we stayed over for a week and it was pretty cool. I remember the food was great. I would remember the food lol.

   I never went to day camp, but I did go to a week long co-ed boarding camp for a number of years. In my teen years there would always be talk about who would go and make out with who at “the rock” (a certain area of the camp). Of course it was always just talk, and nothing actually went on.

   Only camp I ever went to was in 6th grade. Camp High Hill up around La Canada (canYAda) near Los Angeles… I still remember a number of the camp songs…

   Note to the camp ‘Flea’

   big fleas have little fleas
   Upon their backs to bite’m
   And little fleas have lesser fleas
