Well done.
She shouldn’t be crying. She should be lecturing the little so and so on the proper respect one should give one’s parents.

If anyone needed a slap, it was her, good going Mom.

In my family, we called this the “Senior Slap.” The couple of kids needed it – just once. After that, the rest of us learned how not to go there.

I don’t think parents ought to slap a kid’s face. God gave them a place to smack or spank and that’s where the smack should’ve gone.

The last time I hit my daughter she hit me back and about took me down. The hit I gave her was more like a love tap, not abuse. It was rather funny.

I think a slap in the face is wrong; it’s too personal, and leaves marks, physically and psychologically.
Go for a gut punch next time.

I think the slap was the right thing. Every once in a while a child needs to learn there big are consequences for their actions. If she was treating the bully at school this way she would be picking herself up of the ground. My son learn the hard way what would happen if he smacked me back after he mouthed off at me. Was the last time he every did that.

Believe it or not, I agree with Jeri this once. I wish Mom would just shut up!
Blah, blah, blah, blah…on and on ad nauseum!

Just remember
“A slap to the face is an insult but a slap to the back of the head is a wake up call”

Jeri had that coming. It’s just WRONG to talk to your parents like that. Kids NEED that boundary.
