Goodbye Teena, you’ll be missed. Too bad the production schedule for Sunday papers apparently kept this from being an appropriate farewell strip, but yesterday’s episode was touching and is how I’ll remember the end of PreTeena. Best of luck to Allison Barrows, whatever her future may hold.

Gentle humour is often the best. Teena will be missed.

Aww, bleeep it. I’ll miss this strip. It was still funny, unlike some that have on years or decades past their prime.

It was a daily favorite. And when Johnson stayed at school with Jeri when she missed a class trip to see “The Taming of the Shrew,” my wife had me frame the episodes for presentation to her principal. I made a second copy. It hangs on a wall in our house.
Barrows indicated the strip may continue in some form on the Internet. I hope to see it if that happens, but at this point I’m not sure how her fans will find out.

I loved this strip and I’m sorry to see it end. My two girls could not see themselves in it, but Oh, did I laugh (and cry). The bra-buying episodes are unequalled in anything else today.

I just saw a photo of ms. Barrows… she looks just like Teena’s Mom. Oh Ms. Barrows, you did such a good job and made a lot of us so delighted with your characters. I am so sorry to see you go.
