    I forget the story line, but Sheldon and his wife didn’t officially name their son Robert, did they? As in, his name is legally just Bob.

    (British expression.)

    I thought they were perhaps red red robins (which are, of course, not blue, but neither are bob whites).

    They do use “onomatpoeia” to describe the words in comics like “pow” and “zap” but it wouldn’t be appropriate to classify a soundless action by that term, would it? I searched further and didn’t find any discussions, but some sources mention “action words” in comics. I think that would work for “bob” here.

    “Action words” ie verbs……..I bob; you bob; he, she, or it bobs…….Don’t get me started on Spanish verb forms.
