   I miss the days when teachers had normal lives, both in class and outside of it.
   .
   Every so often a teacher gets into trouble when seen coming out of sex clubs and similar outfits. While much could be said about people having privacy off the clock, those types of lifestyles affect a person (usually more than they believe), and it sets a bad example for the kids.
   .
   Now, of course, many teachers want the kids to act better than the teachers do. The kids aren’t stupid. They respect a good example, but don’t respect a bad example.

   I think more people remember They Live than actually saw the movie in the theater. I know my first viewing was on a videotape. Either that or TBS.

   My mother & 2 sisters were teachers. Mom is gone- sisters retired. Yes they do lead normal lives. Shopping, cooking, arguing with siblings etc. I’m quite sure mail carriers do also.

   Or the episode of the Cosby show when Theo’s teacher Mrs. Westgate came over with her husband and Theo was shocked that she was married, and expecting a baby!

    Postmen are scary. They live with their mothers and have an abnormal interest in civil servants, stamps from around the world, beer, bar trivia, and celibacy.

    Yup, I noticed it right away…also different on The Duplex, The Flying McCoys, Kit N Carlyle.

    Also different on Rose is Rose, Dogs of C-Kennel, The Argyle Sweater, Ten Cats and Ollie and Quentin. I assume Gocomics is doing the updating bit by bit.

    @dinkytown Back when girls wore Dove shorts, we had a mail person with highly modified uniform(looked like Dove shorts). All the men on her route used to sit on the porch and wait for the mail.
